The three co-founders, Michael Harvey, Mahipat Singh and Nicholas Hill started the Management Consultancy Group in 2005. We are professional and experienced Business Line Managers, who have held Board Level positions in many large Retail Groups. Between us, we have nearly over years retail line management time.Our experience includes many types of retail format - Department Stores, Shopping Malls, Food Stores, Specialty Store Chains, Travel Service Stores, Luxury Boutiques and On Line Stores - covering all the major merchandise categories, including Fashion, Beauty, Home & Leisure, Food, Entertainment, Travel Service, Sports, Technology and Media. We also have experience in M&A and Government Relations.
We started Harvey Singh Hill because we believed our experience, skills and know how were of value to others as well as to our own business and that we could assist Retail Management, Property and IT Investors in developing and managing their businesses to achieve a superior competitive position and sustained improvements in financial performance.

MICHAEL HARVEY (Chairman)
Michael Harvey has worked in Retail for over 30 years. He has held senior positions as Chairman and Chief Executive of Habitat Group, Director of Storehouse PLC, Managing Director of Viyella Division of Coats Viyella, Managing Director of Steinberg Group PLC. Michael has also worked extensively in Consumer Goods, Travel Retail and Airline businesses and was one of the first Consultants within the McKinsey & Co. FMCG and Retail Group in London, Paris and New York when it first started in the 1970's. Michael has lived and worked in the UK, France, the United States, East Africa, Brazil, Russia and Hong Kong. He is a co-founder of HARVEY SINGH HILL. Michael leads the Firm and works primarily on Business Strategy, Business Planning and Investment. He also is responsible for our Client Development programmes.
NICHOLAS HILL (Chief Executive)
Nick has spent a lifetime in the Retail Industry, holding management positions at Harrods as Head of Menswear, then Head of Fashion Operations at Selfridges. Later, he became Head of Retail at Liberty of London before becoming Retail Director at TSUM Moscow. Subsequently, he was Retail Director at Tsvetnoy, the Award Winning Contemporary Store in Moscow Central Market. Nick has also held CEO positions for Stockmann Russia and Debruss Limited together with DLT Saint Petersburg. He is a co founder of HARVEY SINGH HILL. He leads our Retail Operations and Organisation practice.
MAHIPAT SINGH (Senior Director)
Mahipat Singh has spent his working life in International Retail and has a global reputation as a developer of cutting edge Retail Concepts. He is also one of the best known and expert Buyers in the world. He has held senior Board level management positions at Habitat, Selfridges of London, Marks & Spencer, TSUM Moscow and Tsvetnoy Moscow, He has worked in Europe, SE Asia, India and many other regions around the world on many projects and assignments over more than 25 years. A Founder Director, Mahipat leads our Concept Development, Space Management and Buying Management practices for both Off and On Line Stores.
CAROLINE GREER (Fashion Director)
Caroline Greer is one of the most highly respected Fashion Directors and Buyers in the fashion world. With over 20 years’ experience she held Management roles at Harrods as successively Women's International Buyer and Menswear Buyer. She joined Alexander McQueen as Brand Manager in its early stage of development. Subsequently she was recruited by Harvey Nichols in Hong Kong as Head of Fashion. Following her years there, she spent a year at Liberty of London as Fashion Director, before returning to Hong Kong and Lane Crawford as Divisional Merchandising Director. Caroline joined us in 2009. She manages our Fashion Market Intelligence practise as well as our extensive Buying Assignments.
